Something About A Sunday

What is it about being away from home on a Sunday that makes it harder than any other day?  Is it missing those lazy mornings sleeping in?  Missing church service with your family all around you?  Missing family dinners or downtime with friends? Whatever it is, there is something about a Sunday which makes us long for home more than any other day of the week.  For our troops overseas, this longing can sometimes feel overwhelming, the wait can seem endless.  Through one soldier stationed in Afganistan "Something About A Sunday" is being shared.  The result? Somehow, someway the gap is being made just a little smaller, the waiting a little more tolerable.  Crazy, huh?  But music can do that.  It builds bridges between us and soothes our souls, even from thousands of miles away.
